★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Park up in Pedras De El-Rei and take the short footbridge to the island. A little diesel powered narrow gauge train with open carriages takes you to the beach. In fact you may actually walk - footpath alongside the rickety train track - the kilometer to the beach slightly quicker... but where is the fun in that?!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place, very pleasant experience. Trains are running quite frequently and there is a room for prams/boogies on the last carriage.
Tickets are €1.60 per person as of May 2019.
Beach itself contains all amenities, restaurant, toilets all very clean and in good shape including shower cabins.
