★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff are nice and doing the best they can under the circumstances but it took 40 minutes to pick up my car on arrival. Waiting around for 30 minutes for someone to check the car when returning it. Service is slow so allow yourself extra time.

You need to go outside the airport building to find reception desk moreover A member of staff tried hard to sell additional car insurance which felt unpleasant. The car we have been allocated has got seat belt error so had to return airport car hire swap another car.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took out car hire for a few days in Portugal, when we arrived they marked on the sheet where scratches and marks were on the car. We noticed an additional mark and we’re told by the man at the time that it was only cosmetic and they don’t worry about it, it was fine. When we brought the car back as this mark wasn’t outlined on the sheet they tried to say we had damaged the car. I had explained that his colleague had said it was fine as it was cosmetic, but he said that it’s not possible as it would have been marked on the sheet. Luckily enough we had taken photos of the car prior to driving away but definitely be careful if hiring a car.
