★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An absolutely fantastic restaurant away from the more brazen tourist traps in the area. The food is authentic, cheap and delicious. The staff are charming and helpful even if you speak little to no Portuguese you'll be fine. The restaurant has a vibrant atmosphere almost like a community centre, there is so much going on. Order the chicken, chips, tomato salad and a couple of beers and you're sorted. If you've got room afterwards the desserts are also excellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very popular local Piri Piri chicken from the village where it originated from. Misleading front door, entrance is further to the right with car parking. Got to leave your name with waiter and waited to be called.
We had the spicy grilled chicken. Waiter decided everything for us. Fast and efficient. Chicken pieces came with tomato salad and chips. Definitely will go back while still in the Algarve!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chicken piri-piri is this restaurant's speciality (although there's a few other options on the menu) and it's absolutely delicious, with a side of homemade french fries and tomato salad (we skipped the onions). You arrive, give your name and wait 20/30 minutes outside in the waiting area. Once you're in, the service is quick and competent. Great prices & quality, highly recommended!
