Great place for families very fresh food and enjoyed putting together the different foods delivered to the table. definitely will be back. lots of desert options

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent chicken piri-piri. The best in Algarve! For rabbit lovers the fried rabibit is also very good. Strongly recommend comming here, also for the magnificent view from the mountain to the sea.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food here is good and reasonably priced, the views over the mountain and down to the coast are superb. A very nice place to while away an hour or so while lunching. I visited at lunch time on a typically beautiful Algarve sunny day, need to visit again for an evening meal the views at night must be spectacular.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the 30th year I’ve gone to this restaurant tucked away up a mountain road. The food is as exceptional today as it was that very first time. The owners are the same as I remember from years ago. The views on a clear day are spectacular. This is the best piri piri chicken you’ll find in Portugal. The salad chips, almond cake, vino verde especially the bread, cheese and ambience makes this a piece of heaven and my absolute happy place in a changing world. I hope it’s still here in 30 years. I’m sure to keep coming with my family.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a wonderful place. Unfortunately we couldn't see the view as it was raining on the day we went, but were warmly welcomed at 11.55am by all the many friendly, helpful staff. I had the house speciality pork cheeks which were divine and husband had a huge steak with delicious homemade chips. Delicious carob, fig and almond tart and flan for dessert. Excellent value for money.
