★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a beautiful place with a lovely village feel and friendly local people and wonderful fresh food market every Sunday. No attractions for kids or teenagers, so perfect for those that want a holiday 'without the noise'.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely boardwalk along the coast of Alvor. Stretches from the Beach of the 3 Brothers across to the wetlands and towards the harbour. Pleasant breezy walk. Lots of people walking their dogs. Would recommend if you like a little scenic walk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A really good walk around the river and beach area. Go all the way to the end to see a great sunset over Lagos.
Boardwalk caters for walkers, runners and cyclist's (gravel track). We walked 4km around this area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely wonderful, long, taken care of wooden/raised boardwalk along dunes. Enjoy the views and stop for a rest in one of pergolas. In the end one can reach the long and beautiful sand beach, which is much less crowded than in front of the main entrance.
