★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good family diner, simple, friendly, and honest. The food was good. Plates were more than we expected. Prices were true, without cheating. I ordered a steak and it included potato chips, rice (well cooked), and a fried egg. My wife's sardines included potatoes and vegetables. Our friend's home cheese was amazing. When we were done, the host gave us some plums as a present.
Our full bill was under 20 euro for a steak, sardines, glass of wine, home cheese, and a coke.
Great location too. We are definitely going there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A little quaint restaurant right off the square where you can get great food at cheap prices. We ordered the grilled salmon with vegetables and portuguese estepata with rice and fries. The portions are quite nice and the service was amiable as well.
We finished with a bolo de bolacha - a wafer cake that was scrumptious. We highly recommend!! All in all....the place may not look like much but the food is a winner!!
