★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No dia 14 de Novembro, liguei para o contacto telefónico da RIAS. Não me atenderem logo mas passado 2 minutos, devolveram me a chamada! Relembro que isto tudo aconteceu um domingo!!! Eu estava na praia com uma gaivota jovem quase a morrer... A senhora que me atendeu muito simpáticamente, deu os passos a seguir para recolher a gaivota e deixá-la no Posto da GNR mais próximao. Assim, o fiz e enviei mensagem a dizer que tinha deixado o animal. Passado um mês e meio recebi a seguinte mensagem :"Ola. É com grande alegria que informamos que a gaivota que encontrou, recuperou e foi devolvida à Natureza. Obrigada pelo auxilio que prestou à ave. Com os melhores cumprimentos, RIAS.". Fiquei de coração cheio! Obrigada RIAS!!!!
On the 14th of November, I called the RIAS telephone contact. They didn't answer me right away but after 2 minutes, they returned the call! I remember that this all happened on a Sunday!!! I was on the beach with a young seagull about to die... The lady who answered me very kindly, took the following steps to collect the seagull and leave it at the nearest GNR Post. So I did and sent a message saying that I had left the animal. A month and a half later I received the following message: "Hello. It is with great joy that we inform you that the seagull you found, recovered and was returned to nature. Thank you for your help to the bird. Best regards, RIAS." My heart was full! Thank you RIAS!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Am really impressed with the help i got regarding an injured bird that i found on the beach in Portimao, while on holiday. Vera from RIAS was so kind and helpful and even sent me a message telling me that the seagull was now being looked after in their intensive care ward. She gave me a hospital ID so i could check his progress and see if he makes it back to the wild. It gives me hope that there are people who care so much! Thank you for being there for the animals.
