★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A darned hard working team work hard to bring fresh fish and shellfish and wines to a hungry audience. Slightly off the main drag but better for it. Food is fresh and well prepared and prices are reasonable. Small menu but utterly fish focused, it does it well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was ok but a bit expensive for what it was. Service was friendly but a bit on the slow side. I wouldn't visit again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I found this restaurant a few days before visiting in my Google maps feed from other visitors. My partner and I decided to visit as we wanted a meal which was homely, friendly and not marina extortionate. Off the beaten track, this isn't the restaurant to come to if you want fancy marina sights and extortionate meals. It is however the place you come to if you want tasty, local Portuguese cuisine with a homely friendly service. We didn't seem to be the only Brits visiting as we heard and spoke to other diners. I had mussels to start and sardines main. My partner had fish soup to start and a prawn (and possibly other sea food) risotto. Our toddler son had fish fingers and chips which he loved and having tasted them I agree they were better than what he'd had at the Hilton where we are staying. Service was fabulous. I wish I knew the lady's name but the main server who I'm sure must be general manager or even owner was fabulous as was the gentleman who served us. I'll try to come back before we leave. Unless we find other hidden gems such as this one!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Authentic hidden gem! Fresh fish, beautifully cooked all topped off with a wonderful attentive and kind hostess. This is a small restaurant so would advise you book to avoid disappointment. Ask them to recommend regarding what fish they have in. They can also fillet it for you! Lovely place, would come again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious food and a great front-of-house hostess. From the bread, olives, sardine spreads and goat cheese, to the main dishes themselves, great taste and great service. We had the mussels bulao pato together with the grilled sea bass as well as monkfish & prawns in champagne sauce, really enjoyed everything! Would definitely recommend a visit.
