E	Enio Ferreira on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ive played this course many times and at first it was fantastic, unfortunately over the last year or so the course condition has gotten worse and worse but the green fees increased...I asked for a twighlight rate and the chap said he would do a better than twighlight rate so €80 this was at 15:40 last Saturday. I was not impressed at all I dont mind paying but course condition was the worst ive played in the whole Algarve its not worth €40 at the moment. Absolute rip off. Pictures dont do it justice. At least the fairways were good. Wont be going back for a while.

If you are not a category 1 golfer then this could be a nightmare...long carries to fairways, lots of danger, big bunkers etc...but if you can play, this is special. An absolutely brilliant challenge...fantastic design...Great condition...Big greens...tight fairways, massive bunkers... but rewarding to good golf. Facilities are world class and clubhouse is very nice.
P	Philip Pycroft on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't play golf, but the stay here was very nice. We were self catering in a 2 bedroom apartment and it was very nice. The apartment was clean and had most of the things needed to cook with, alas you can tell that most people that stay here don't cook their own food as the apartment was missing decent sized pans and a cafetiere. The public pool is very clean and usually no problem getting a lounger with plenty of shade. The restaurant is quite pretentious and again caters for the minority. The menu is pretty limited and you can get much better tasting food for better value within a few miles. Views are beautiful from the clubhouse, which overlooks the golf course and valley.

Stunning..stunning ..stunning...... rarely do you exit a course in awe of what you just played....the Faldo course was one of those tracks, it is a very testing course, perfectly placed traps, interesting doglegs and super tough greens. There was not a flat green anywhere to be seen All 8 of us voted to return for next years tour...... so many changes in elevation, you really need to play a number of times just to learn where to put the ball for your next shot / green approach.
