★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great course. I was able to tee off at 8am for the first tee in December. I did not see another sole until I reached the 9th. The staff in the shop where very helpful and all spoke very good English. I was able to complete my round in 2hrs and 15mins. Carts are very nice and clean. The bar and restaurant are both very nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice golf course. Well kept and modern Clubhouse. Best of the 3 courses we placed. In September a lot of the courses have taken a beating on the greens from all the visitors over summer. This held itself and were still good condition. A lot of water.

I played Salgados three times between Xmas and New Year 2021, the fairways were in pretty poor shape, either wet... bare and dry, or badly cut. Yes the course has lots of water, and for a first timer, not knowing where water comes into play does make the course harder than its index.
The greens however were in really great shape, true pace, and would accept spin from medium and short irons.
2nd 6th and 18th are all strong holes. the shorter par 4's certainly need a "golfing brain" whereby placement off the tee is far more important than distance. Sadly 14th and 15th are two of the most boring par 5's I have ever played ?️?️?️⛳⛳???
I shot progressivly lower as i played each round, and my nett score after three rounds was only 6 over my indexed handicap for the course.
The other two NAU owned courses ( Alamos and Morgado ) are much better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unlucky with the weather and course very wet. When dried out and manicured it will be much more fun. Challenging golf but not too challenging!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very challenging but great course. Fairways and greens are OK. Driving range is a net which was disappointing. Pitching and putting area are good. Guy at pro shop/ reception is unfriendly.
Go here for a great course experience but don't expect to get what you paid for.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Played here recently, course condition was ok. Fairways need a bit of TLC. The greens are excellent, fast and true. Lots of water to contend with so accurate shots around the course are a must.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is something else. A great golfing challenge. Don't be put off by the course map. While there is an awful lit of water out there, there is still a lot of open fairways as well. It would be one course I would certainly return to

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a course!! We'll maintained 5min walk from palm village apartments.. Fairways tight and plenty of doglegs .. Great too for low handicappers as there's plenty of water. ( massive fish in the waters around the course too) Clubhouse is the best around. Would definitely play there again (2022)
