VALE DE MILHO GOLF is a beautiful 9-hole course, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, close to the village of Carvoeiro, in the Algarve. The course is a scaled-down version of a full-sized course and plays as a 9-hole par 3 course for adults and a customized par 35 for juniors. It is a high-quality course designed by Dave Thomas, who played in the Ryder Cup 4 times and, besides “The Belfry”, has designed over 40 golf courses. VALE DE MILHO GOLF has the ambience of a full-sized course and is maintained to high standards all year round. With its large contoured greens, tall trees, lakes and bunkers, it provides a real challenge whatever standard of golf you play.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent little par 3 course. Service in the clubhouse was poor and the signs to the next tee aren’t well signposted - I missed the 5th, 6th and 7th and had to go back.
Club hire is €12 for 18 holes and the clubs are very old and not well maintained.
Decent day out but overpriced for what you get.

An enjoyable visit and must go back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice little 9-holes course with par 3 holes. Not too difficult, good chance for a hole in one on some of the holes. There is some nice elevation on some holes. Nice clubhouse that overviews the 9th. Prices are ok, 18 euro greenfee. Took us about an hour to complete.
