E	Erik Österlind on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lite mellan 3 och 4 i betyg. För pengarna som vi betalade (92 Euro för twilight med golfbil) så får den en maffig bana på alla sätt. Visuellt tilltalande men inte så minnesvärd. Det finns ett gäng bra golfhål men ärligt talat så är merparten av hålen lätt glömda. Sen så är avstånden mellan vissa av golfhålen löjliga. Skulle nästan säga att den är omöjlig att gå. Fick ihop 1,6 Mil på min golfklocka :-( Så golfbil är nog ett måste. Banan var i bra skick om än vissa dressade fairways. Greenerna var mkt snabba och rullade jättefint. Vissa bunkrar var tyvärr i sämre skick. Och som en del andra kommenterat. På andra 9 när man spelar bland tomter och vägar som inte blivit sålda så känns det lite som att vara i en Zombiefilm. Lite ödsligt och konstigt. Dock fantastiskt fin utsikt från många hål. Också väldigt bra övningsområden så om man vill träna golf så är Amondeira ett bra ställe att vara på. Vi spelade Palmares några dar efter med samma deal (twilight + golfbil) för 84 Euro. Det är i min bok en betydligt trevligare bana och miljö och därmed ett mkt bättre erbjudande. Så Palmares tar hem den matchen lätt. Och sett mot det så får det bli 3 stjärnor i betyg. A little between 3 and 4 in grades. For the money we paid (92 Euro for twilight with golf cart) it gets a great course in every way. Visually appealing but not so memorable. There are a bunch of good golf holes but honestly, most of the holes are easily forgotten. Then the distances between some of the golf holes are ridiculous. Would almost say it is impossible to walk. Got 1.6 Miles on my golf watch :-( So a golf cart is probably a must. The course was in good condition, although some trained fairways. The greens were very fast and rolled very well. Some bunkers were unfortunately in poorer condition. And as some others commented. On the other 9 when you play among plots and roads that have not been sold, it feels a bit like being in a zombie movie. A bit desolate and strange. However, fantastic views from many holes. Also very good practice areas so if you want to train golf, Amondeira is a good place to be.We played Palmares a few days later with the same deal (twilight + golf cart) for 84 Euro.It is in my book a much nicer course and environment and thus a much better offer.So Palmares takes home that match easily.And looking at it, it may be 3 stars in rating.
E	Erik Zwijnenburg on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prachtig gelegen baan van de 2 die er op het Amendoeira Golf Resort aanwezig zijn. Faciliteiten zijn uitstekend, receptie met een mooie golfshop erbij. Uitleg prima, buggy's goed onderhouden en de baan mooi, greens voor ons niet te lezen. Hebben we de afgelopen dagen al meer gehad ? Eerste 9-holes vrij vlak, 2e 9-holes meer hoogteverschillen, daardoor soms lastiger. Clubhuis gezellig en vlotte bediening. Beautifully situated course of the 2 that are present at the Amendoeira Golf Resort. Facilities are excellent, reception with a nice golf shop. Excellent explanation, buggies well maintained and the course beautiful, greens unreadable for us. Have we had more in the past few days ? First 9-holes fairly flat, 2nd 9-holes more height differences, therefore sometimes more difficult. Club house cozy and smooth service.

P	Peter Bowers on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ OMG - this is a golf course that Roman Emperors would have played on, the scale and grandeur of this club is simply amazing and awe - the size of the clubhouse is of a large hotel with marble everywhere - and the course is as long as you can imagine do not walk this course !
B	Brian Rigby on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We played both courses; staying over in the apartments - the set up is very good with apartment, transport and registration all very good. The courses played well with good pace ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️... all good then. Over the two days we lost three golf watches - our fault as we had attached them to the buggies but forgot to take them off when finished our rounds. We enquired afterwards only to be told none had been found; disappointed but felt they didn’t care. On the first evening we had dinner which was very good, however when a member of staff told us two sets of clubs weren’t allowed on the terrace/patio I personally asked for help to remove them only to be told, ”it’s not my job”⭐️. Not very good customer service - this was the overall experience with the waiting/bar staff and needs to be addressed if they require more golfers. A two ⭐️⭐️ is tough but it’s always been about service, and this was very poor on the terrace/patio areas - the accommodation was very good⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ One point; we have been many times before; we always used to get a cold towel to freshen up after golf and they always used to offer a club cleaning service.... none of this is now offered which takes away the premium experience⭐️ It’s a shame; but these little things matter when booking next year.
K	Kelly Beeson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Firstly the place was VERY expensive. My son was €70 for 12 yr old son(that’s their Christmas special junior rate)and €70 for me. There was no buggy girl for food as she was on lunch break between 12-1...... The Dom Pedro courses are much better stay away from here and go to the other courses.
E	Eddy Trivett on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent course, certainly challenging. Very hospitable staff and buggy service. Very hilly and on most of the holes need to get over lost ball territory in front of the tee, need to hit a good drive. Great views. The best course I’ve played and high handicappers shouldn’t be put off, just enjoy the experience if not your best score.
