Esta povoação, vive muito do turismo, mas sem grandes balburdias, aqui existem vários locais de alojamento, restauração, comercio variado, banco e farmácia. Próximo existem varias praias, tal com Praia da galé, Evaristo, Lourenço, Pedras amarelas, e outras. vale a pena uma visita e tirar um foto na rotunda da carroça, rotunda essa com uma História bem antiga. Origens dessa rotunda madrugada de 1 de Maio, do ano ?????,. Os jovens da zona, 2 roubavam as carroças das pessoas mais velhas das proximidades, e no cruzamento, faziam uma espécie de rotunda com as ditas carroças. As mesmas eram presas umas as outras de modo a que os donos assim que dessem falta delas, as fossem buscar. Elas permaneciam alguns dias até que os donos as retirassem. e , cumprindo essa tradição, foi construída uma rotunda e no centro uma carroça. Purtroppo l'eccessiva espansione edilizia degli ultimi vent'anni ha un pochino deturpato la bella campagna ed i suoi classici panorami.
