This campsite should actually be closed due to poor hygiene during Corona times, because: - Unfortunately the sanitary facilities and wash houses were cleaned far too rarely (1 - 2 times a day and they never cleaned it totally) - the buckets for the toilet paper are much too small and have a lid. Since they are emptied no more than once a day, they constantly overflow, so that often at some point the cloak is simply put on top. Also: - the old wash house upstairs is in urgent need of renovation - the shower stalls are way too narrow - the new wash house downstairs is very good - The disabled toilets and showers in the new wash house are locked. Getting a key is very difficult and takes a long time. - The staff at the reception is basically friendly, but if you criticize it, the tone quickly becomes unfriendly. It's a shame that such a beautiful campsite is so poorly managed. Dieser Campingplatz müsste eigentlich wegen mangelnder Hygiene zu Coronazeiten geschlossen werden, weil: - leider wurden die sanitären Anlagen und Waschhäuser viel zu selten - geputzt (1 - 2 mal täglich und nie wurde alles sauber gemacht) - die Eimer für das Toilettenpapier sind viel zu klein und haben einen Deckel. Da sie maximal einmal täglich geleert werden, laufen sie ständig über, sodass oft irgendwann das Clopapier einfach oben drauf gelegt wird. Außerdem: - das alte Waschhaus oben ist dringend renovierungsbedürftig - die Duschkabinen sind viel zu eng - das neue Waschhaus unten ist sehr gut - die im neuen Waschhaus befindlichen Behindertentoiletten und -Duschen sind abgeschlossen. Einen Schlüssel erhält man nur sehr schwer und mit langer Wartezeit. - das Personal an der Rezeption ist prinzipiell freundlich, aber wenn man mal Kritik übt, wird der Ton schnell unfreundlich. Schade, dass ein so schöner Campingplatz so schlecht geführt wird.

Just arrived with 3 friends at the last minute and they welcame us immediately. Properply asking us to do the covid test in an apposite area. The place is amazing, also the bar-restaurant is well organized. Toilets and showers perfectly sanitized. We definitely recommend it.

Interesting that this site is one of the very few campsites near Sagres. I didn't think that the people that ran the site were particularly welcoming and the process to check in and then find a pitch (especially one with elec was a bit of a nightmare), for me not worth the money but as they are one of the very few in the area they can charge what the like....I don't recommend

Great toilets and showers, super clean too. But the restaurant is terrible and no other nice common areas (such as swimming pool for instance). However, is greatly quiet, even in high season!

Campground was clean and not too noisy. BUT: they charged us two tents while we had just one. Just because of Making more money. The surf camp there is a bit noisy and if you are not from the surf camp it is forbidden to use the miniramp. Something which is unbelievable for every skater. If they got it it should be usable for everyone. At the and they even wanted us to pay 50 euros for not giving back the hand made "card" (which functions like a key) all in all not really nice!

We are really surprised about the bad reviews because they don’t match with our impression. The campsite looks great, check in/out is easy, toilet area was several times cleaned, supermarket is good equipped and the showers have hot water. We walked to the city centre which takes around 30 minutes.

Liked: Area, coastal path walks, beaches and some great restaurants around. Could walk into the village. Bus service along coast to Lagos. Disliked: I’m uneven pitches, midges as in woodland.

Liked: Local coastal road, pretty village, nice scenery Disliked: Sanitary facilities cold and dated. Nearest water tap not working, the whole site needs some TLC it could be lovely!
