★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant wasn't full for our dinner what was a bonus for us, since we took our baby boy. The service was quick and in less than 15 min we were served with "frango à guia". Since it's less crowded than other restaurants in the area is an excellent alternative.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely traditional peri-peri at a cracking price with very good service. Don't be put off by the basic looking set up and bear in mind if the locals use it then it must have something about it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been coming here for over 25 years, since the restaurant was in the front house.
Serving the typical chicken 'piri piri', a standard good quality meal is always provided. Please don't have the expectation of a Nando's if you have not had the local piri piri.
I have seen the prices creep up over the years, at a rate that's a little too steep compared to inflation.
It can be rammed during the summer high season, so make sure you come early or late to get a table.
I will keep coming back for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there on a Sunday, around 2 PM. After giving our names to the waiter, the waiting time was short (~5 minutes). The service was quite fast, the waiters were friendly and the food (the renowned chicken piri-piri) was quite good for a fairly reasonable price. Between the main course, a couple of desserts and drinks, I ended up paying €32 for the overall meal (~€16 pax).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Must try this restaurant. Food are amazing. Simple but great. Toilet is super clean, smell nice and new. We're order 1.5 chicken. It's enough for 1 big man and 1 woman.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Superb value and quantity of food. We only had the chicken but it was more than enough. Then the deserts almost beat us. Great wine and salads. Slightly more expensive than similar local restaurants as everything was an extra cost. But will visit again when we can fit it all in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious portuguese piri-piri chicken! Very good selection of deserts including the Algarve pastries with fig, carob and almond. Kind and efficient waitresses.
The place has microwave for costumers warm up baby's food. Parking area with plenty of space. Very clean restrooms.
